Bridesmaids

Sanya Lakhani

Maid of Honor

I am so lucky to have Sanya in my life. I can't imagine going through life without my built-in best friend through all the ups and downs of life. We've grown so much together over the years and I'm so lucky that she'll always be by my side through everything.

Sahaj Singh

Bridesmaid

Sahaj and I have been best friends since high school. We've made the best memories throughout the years and celebrated so many important milestones together. I am so thankful that Sahaj has become a second sister and a forever friend.

Alizeh Pirani

Bridesmaid

Alizeh is one of my childhood friends. We've made so many memories growing up and have had a chance to spend much more time together after Wasim and I moved to the Bay Area. Wasim and I have loved double dating with Alizeh and Rehman and are so thankful for their friendship.

Beenish Noor Ali

Bridesmaid

Beenish has always been like an older sister. She's an incredible role model and someone I admire. Even though she's in a different country now, whenever we get a chance to catch up, it's just like old times.

Saleeta Rajwani

Bridesmaid

My friendship with Saleeta has lasted through a lot of long distance. Even when we are going through life and don’t get an opportunity to see each other, I know we’ll always be there for each other.

Alice Noorani

Bridesmaid

Alice was one of my first friends after I moved to Texas. I think we can all agree that she's the mom of the group and you can be sure that you will find her tearing up multiple times during the wedding.

Sarah Bhai

Bridesmaid

Sarah and I had a chance to form a great friendship throughout high school. Sarah is so genuine and I always have such a fun time with her when we get together with our group of friends.

Fariha Dewany

Bridesmaid

I'm so lucky to have Fariha as one of my childhood friends. Although we lost touch as we were growing up, I'm so glad we have reconnected and have been part of each other's lives.

Groomsmen

Samir Wadhwani

Best Man

The definition of brother can mean so many different things. For Samir, the definition of brother means someone who has always been there to help me, whatever the ask may be. A brother who is the embodiment of kindness and everything that I look for in those that I surround myself with. Samir is the kind of brother everyone should have but I got lucky to have him by my side through life and especially at this new milestone in my life.

Khurram Wadhwani

Best Man

Khurram and I have a 7 year gap in between us which growing up felt like I was a third parental guardian for him. But over time, I’ve realized that Khurram and I have a lot in common. We both enjoy a good classical/jazz soundtrack, love engaging in deep conversations with people we meet, and have develop a passion for cars. If I didn’t have him as one of my co-Best Men, it just wouldn’t feel right.

Shaheer Naqvi

Groomsman

How do you sum up a friendship of over 20 years? Shaheer is my best friend, my brother, and someone I can trust to be there no matter what. Even though we live in different time zones now and don’t get a chance to talk daily, we always make sure to send each other memes and catch up other times. Also, you’d think for a friendship over so many years, we’d have a ton of pictures together; well, we don’t. I’ve definitely realized we need to start taking more pictures together.

Tito Tamayo

Groomsman

Tito and I go way back, all the way to high school comp sci. I don’t quite remember the moment we became friends but to be honest, it doesn’t really matter because it was an instant click over the typical nerdy things (video games, Star Wars, programming) that we continue to nerd out over to this day.

Bryan Murray

Groomsman

My first encounter with Bryan was in AP English, he had just moved to Euless and was sitting behind me in class. I don’t remember much of that day but I do know that he was, and still is, consistently funny. Bryan brings that happy, easygoing perspective to life and it’s something that I value about him and our friendship, all these years later.

Anila Punjwani

Groomswoman

Anila and I met back at Al-Ummah, a summer camp for Ismailis. Since then, she’s been like an older sister to me. Helping me get acclimated to A&M when I started, inviting me over to her parent’s place in Houston when I had just moved there and wanted some good home cooked food, and even being right there from the start when I first began talking to Sana!

Raul Garcia

Groomsman

Raul and I met during our MIS program at A&M and ended up rooming together senior year. Our friendship is established on the basis of furthering our knowledge and education (as evidence by us both going through an online Master’s program together, for some reason) and being able to enjoy the simpler things in life, life coffee, music, and talking nonsense for hours.

Jordan Plum

Groomswoman

Jordan and I met at Help Desk Central, our on-campus tech support job where I pretended to have an accent, much to Jordan’s surprise. When a friendship starts on shenanigans like that, you know the rest of the friendship will also develop similarly. Regardless though, we have managed to bond further over this shared enjoyment of pranks, dark humor, and memes.

Mason Ryan

Groomsman

What happens when you put two people with the same birthday and similar personalities on the same project? An instant bond! Mason and I have been friends from day 1 of the project we were both put on, and that was before we found out we have the same birthday. Since then, we’ve both moved to the Bay Area, both work at Meta, and have gotten many opportunities to continue growing this life-long friendship.

Rahim Sayani

Groomsman

Growing up, I knew I could always rely on Rahim for advice. As the only older cousin I had in the US, he’s always been like an older brother, even to the point that growing up I would hang out with him and his friends group. He has been an integral part of my upbringing and I am so excited to have him at my wedding to celebrate with us!
